Anyone can cash a cheque as long as they are aged 18 or over and have registered with us but we will need your help, so on your first visit please bring with you:
- The Cheque
- Proof that you are entitled to the cheque (letter or payslip)
- Picture ID with signature (ideally passport or driving licence) or birth certificate
- A recent utility bill dated within the last 3 months as proof of address
Please bring originals documents and not photocopies.
When you have completed a simple application form, a photo ID card will be posted to you which will make future transactions even easier! There is a small one-off charge for registering.
Personal Cheques - Your Own Cheques
We will cash your personal cheques immediately up to the value of the cheque guarantee card.
When visiting the branch please bring with you:
- Cheque Book
- Cheque Guarantee Card
- Picture ID with Signature, (Passport or Full UK driving Licence)
- Proof of address
- Full bank statements for last 3 months showing salary credits to your account.
